Attorney
Danielle F. Moriber
Dispute Resolution · Outside General Counsel · Mergers & Acquisitions
At Avid Legal, Danielle Fannie Moriber brings a litigator's experience to a general counsel practice with battle-tested strategy and instinct to help companies, innovators, and leadership teams navigate complex issues, build solid foundations, and evaluate risk. She counsels clients on preventing, managing, and resolving disputes and works with the firm's corporate attorneys on how transaction documents allocate risk. As part of the firm's outside general counsel work, she is often the first call when a dispute is threatened or filed.
For more than a decade, she has advised clients on strategy, negotiation, and the commercial agreements at the center of business disputes, and has represented them in complex commercial matters including contract, business tort, consumer fraud, breach of fiduciary duty, intellectual property, antitrust, professional liability, class action, defamation, and whistleblower litigation, in federal and state trial and appellate courts and in arbitration. Her clients span industries including technology and software, consumer products, food and beverage, and real estate, among others.
Before joining Avid Legal, Danielle was a complex commercial litigator and represented both plaintiffs and defendants at the national firm level and litigation boutiques. She began her legal career as a law clerk to the Honorable Jose L. Linares of the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey, and served as a public interest fellow with the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee.
Born and raised in Miami Beach, Danielle is interested in local arts and cultural initiatives and has held local and national leadership positions in the Jewish community. She is admitted to practice law in Florida, New York, and New Jersey as well as various federal courts.
