About
Rob Pearce brings over 20 years of experience in commercial real estate and corporate law to Avid Legal. His practice encompasses a broad range of real estate transactions, including purchases and sales of commercial and residential properties, commercial leasing, real estate lending and loan workouts, and land use and zoning matters.
Rob has extensive experience representing purchasers, sellers, landlords, and tenants across a wide spectrum of real estate transactions. His work has included negotiating and closing asset acquisitions involving multiple properties and complex ancillary agreements, structuring real estate joint ventures, and handling secured lending and workout transactions. He has also advised housing developers and wireless telecommunications companies on land use and zoning requirements, guiding projects through the regulatory process from application through approval.
Beyond transactional real estate, Rob has significant experience in corporate formation and governance, including the preparation of operating agreements, bylaws, shareholder agreements, and organizational documents for a variety of business entities. He has also assisted in the formation of commercial condominiums, preparing the governing documents and instruments required to bring those projects to completion.
Prior to joining Avid Legal, Rob built his career at several prominent firms in the Northeast, where he developed deep expertise in commercial real estate, corporate transactions, and regulatory matters. He also served as an attorney for a state department of justice, handling eminent domain proceedings and negotiating government real estate and facilities agreements.
Rob earned his Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from Boston University School of Law, where he served as Executive Editor for Student Notes on the Annual Review of Banking Law. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Dartmouth College.
