Daura Dutour is a trilegal attorney trained in French civil law, U.S. common law, and Haitian law. She advises on cross-border transactions, international arbitration, corporate structuring, and regulatory matters across the Americas, the Caribbean, and Francophone markets.

About

Her practice spans M&A, foreign direct investment, telecom regulatory licensing, multi-jurisdictional corporate governance, and commercial dispute resolution. She has handled matters across nine countries, including serving as buy-side counsel on a cross-border management buyout coordinated with Paris-based counsel on a three-tranche financing structure, advising on regulatory frameworks for satellite internet deployment, and structuring multi-entity hotel operating agreements across the Caribbean.

Daura holds an LL.M. in International Arbitration from the University of Miami School of Law, a Master’s in Digital Economy Law, and a Corporate Governance certificate from Cornell. She trained at Université Paris I–Sorbonne and practiced at Gide Loyrette Nouel before returning to Haiti, where she served as Legal Advisor to the Prime Minister’s Office following the 2010 earthquake and later founded Dutour Avocats.
